A console-based library management system implemented in C programming language featuring secure admin authentication, book and student management, issue/return tracking with fine calculation, and rule configurability.
As engineering students, we have to read many textbooks and other relevant materials. One of the major sources for obtaining those books is library. Thus, the idea came to our minds as to why not create a library management system for our project. Library Management System, one that is user friendly and well-functioning, was therefore a natural topic for our project. An electronic Library Management System is the natural needs of our time when the Information Technology is in progressing at a rapid pace. Library Management System is flexible as well as efficient both for the librarian as well as the students. Using C programming, and various libraries available, we have created this Library Management System called 'Libmax'.
